Drake is about 20 years old. He plays football for his college. He has had 3 concussions in his lifetime.
What do I have in common with my customer avatar?
I am also 20 years old, in college, and I care about the well-being of those affected by a concussion at some time in their life. Drake is my ideal consumer to an extent, because he is just the person who needs my product. What we have in common is a coincidence to an extent, but not entirely.
Hi, Julia great job of organizing your content in a neat and orderly manner. However, I think that you could have been more descriptive in describing Drake's personality and interests. Although being a football player has a direct link to your product, other characteristics can also be tied to it and allow you to see a bigger market. This, in turn, will allow you to market better.

Your product is really cool and I believe that all football players would benefit from this product. Football is a dangerous sport and concussions do not help, so this product would be great! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI think this is a really good start to a customer avatar for your product but I would have loved to seen more detail and really gotten to know who your customer is as a person and what they are like. I appreciate you directly tying in your customer to your product so that we did not have to search for the link between the two.

I would say maybe going into more detail about what like to do outside of football, their family set-up, and if they are continuing to play football after university. Furthermore, extending more on why there is a similarity but the two of you. Is it due to the love of the sport you share or have you both experienced similar head injuries?
